Each skill is a folder your agent loads when a task calls for it. The router loads first for any website, landing page, UI, design, theme, DESIGN.md or icon task, and tells the agent which skill to use and in what order.

SignOff Kit Free (4 skills)

Skill	What it does
`signoff-kit-router`	Tells your agent which design skill to use when, and settles the places where popular design skills disagree, with a precedence order and house rules.
`site-from-brief-lite`	A quick 8-question intake in one message, with industry defaults (reply `skip` any time), then `BRIEF.md`, a `DESIGN.md` spec and a static site. Includes `design-lint.mjs`, which fails banned palettes, non-OFL fonts, more than two font families, low-contrast text pairs and font CDNs.
`signoff-copy-lite`	Writing rules for natural, flowing page copy, a banned-phrase list, and `copy-lint.mjs`, which fails fragment headlines, X. Y. Z. triplets, heavy dashes, banned phrases and copy with no real paragraphs.
`signoff-photos`	Fills the page’s photo slots with credited Unsplash photos that fit the subject and palette, with no key needed. See Photos and video.

The free download also includes UPSTREAM-SKILLS.md, which links to the open-source design skills the router knows about. They aren’t bundled in the free version; install the ones you want from their own repos, under their own licenses.

Skill	What it does
`signoff-kit-router`	Loads first and routes each design task to the right skill, with the house rules that stop the skills contradicting each other.
`site-from-brief`	The end-to-end workflow: brief, spec (`DESIGN.md`), build, copy pass, photos, audit, then a Vercel deploy (only with your explicit yes) or a static HTML export, and a client handoff doc. Its intake asks about 15 questions in one message.
`layout-deck`	Deals a structurally distinct page layout (nav, hero, middle sections, footer and motif) from a deck of HTML/CSS cards, and checks it against every design the Kit has already made before any page code exists.
`signoff-copy`	Every word on the page: a brand-voice intake (`VOICE.md`), writing rules for natural, flowing prose, a banned-phrase list, and a scored review-and-rewrite pass (a 7-part rubric that passes at 85/100) that runs after the build and before the audit.
`signoff-photos`	Fills photo slots with real stock photos that fit the subject and palette, credited the way each source requires, with no key needed.
`signoff-video`	An optional hero background loop: searches clips through the SignOff Kit video service, lets you pick by eye, then self-hosts a 720p/540p MP4 with a poster.
`icons`	Finds and inlines Lucide icons (1,900+ bundled offline) and, when nothing fits, draws a custom SVG in Lucide’s style.

`taste`	Art direction for websites: deals researched directions covering idea, composition, type, palette, photographs and section blueprints.
`impeccable`	Designs, critiques, audits and polishes frontend interfaces. The paid workflow runs its audit and polish passes after the screenshot audit.
`hallmark`	An anti-slop design skill for new pages, audits, redesigns and design extraction from URLs or screenshots.
`frontend-design`	Guidance for distinctive, intentional visual design: aesthetic direction, typography, and choices that don’t read as templated defaults.
`ui-ux-pro-max`	UI/UX design guidance for pages, components, design systems, accessibility, interaction, responsive layout, typography, color and charts.
`theme-factory`	Styles an artifact with one of 10 preset themes, or generates a new theme on the fly.
`design-md`	The DESIGN.md file format (Google Labs): YAML design tokens plus markdown rationale that lock a project’s visual identity, for writing, validating, diffing or exporting a project’s DESIGN.md.

Every bundled skill is MIT, Apache-2.0 or ISC, and its license and notices ship in LICENSES/. Taste, Impeccable, UI/UX Pro Max, Hallmark, frontend-design, theme-factory, design.md and Lucide are independent open-source projects, credited in the Kit. None of them endorses SignOff Kit.
